Ellijay is about 80 miles from downtown Atlanta, about 1 hour 30 minutes outside rush hour. Our usual route is I-75 to I-575, then GA-515 north. Because the Ellijay wineries are close together, groups can visit three or four tasting rooms in one day and still have time for an apple house or dinner downtown.
